My name is Ali Al-Kindi. I’m an engineer. I work in a big company called the
International Construction Company. I was born in 1972. I’m Qatari and I live in
the big city of Doha. I live in a big villa with my family near the sea.
My grandfather was a pearl diver. These days he is too old, so he stays at home.
He tells us lovely stories about his exciting adventures in the sea. My father
works on a big farm. He has camels, cows and goats. He grows palm trees, fruits
and vegetables. The trees give us sweet dates, but the goats and the cows give
milk and meat.
My mother is a housewife. She cooks delicious food for us. She takes care of our
house.
